Türkiye Scholarships For International Students

Türkiye Scholarships include both scholarship and university placement at the same time. Türkiye Scholarships is a government funded higher education scholarship program which is designed for international students. Türkiye Scholarships is offered for undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D., proficiency in art, and research level. Associate level is outside the scope of Türkiye Scholarships. Applicants will be placed in a university and programme among their preferences specified in the online application form. Candidates can apply only one scholarship programme in accordance with their educational background and academic goals.

Eligibility For The Turkiye Scholarships For International Students

  • Only foreign country citizens can apply for scholarships.
  • The program does not include the foreign students who are studying in Turkey through the EU projects, the reciprocal agreements, and the university scholarships.
  • Applicants who apply to Türkiye Scholarships must be a graduate or able to graduate at the end of the current academic year.
  • Applicants must
    be under the age of 21 for undergraduate programmes,
    be under the age of 30 for master’s programmes, must be under the age of 35 for Ph.D. programmes, must be (preferably) under the age of 45 for a research programme
  • Candidates have to meet the criteria of the university and department which they choose. If it is requested by the university or department, candidates must submit the necessary documents such as the scores of SAT, TOEFL, DELF, YDS, etc.

 Selection Process Of The Turkiye Scholarships

Türkiye Scholarships interviews are conducted in the following format:

A. Welcome and introduction
The selection committee starts by introducing themselves and in return ask you to do same.

B. Document check

A member of the committee goes through the applicant’s documents while the applicant introduces himself/herself. An applicant should ensure he brings the original copies of the documents submitted in the application.

C. Candidate’s motivation for applying
Here an applicant is expected to explain why he has made the choice to study abroad, why he/she has chosen Turkey as a study destination and any other reason they may provide.

D. Academic knowledge and career goals
This stage is about assessing the applicant’s academic standing and future plans. Questions about the academic field an applicant have completed or he wishes to start are being asked here.

E. Questions to the committee
When the interview is getting to a close, the committee will provide some information about where and when to get the results of the interview. Here, an applicant can ask any questions he/she may have.

 

How To Get Selected For The Turkiye Scholarships

  • Ensure your career plans are as concrete as possible and be sure you can defend the achievements had.
  • Understand the goals and values of the organization. Work towards including the keywords gotten from the mission statement, goals, etc into your application.
  • Include a plan for giving back. No one likes liabilities. To get the Turkiye Scholarship, ensure you have a place for giving back to the organization.
  • Apply early.

How To Apply For The Turkiye Scholarships For International Students

The application to Türkiye Scholarships programmes is online and totally free process. Applications delivered by hand or post will not be evaluated.

Candidates are expected to;

  • Open the online application system
  • Create a user account by entering their e-mail address and password
  • Log into the system and complete the application form
  • Upload the requested documents to the system.
