What Is The Format Of KPMG Test Questions?
KPMG aptitude test is divided into two sections;
1. Numerical Reasoning
From the name, you can already tell that the numerical reasoning test assesses your numerical skill and mental arithmetic. Working at KPMG will require you to use numerical skills and ability to interpret data from tables and charts, the KPMG numerical reasoning test will examine your ability to understand a previously unseen passage – as well as its data.
It comprises 24 questions which require you to interpret information from six different sets of data and select the correct answer from a number of options.
Usually, you’ll be given 20 minutes for this test.
Are you scared you don’t know math or you’ve not done math in a long time? Not to worry, the difficulty of the numerical reasoning test is not in the knowledge tested but in the time, pressure and stress. Which is why past questions are very important. When taking your numerical reasoning test, keep an eye on the clock. You will have less than a minute to read the question, analyze data provided and perform the necessary calculations.
QUICK TIP: Try as many sample test questions and answers as possible before the exam. This helps you to familiarize yourself with the style of questions as well as boost your confidence.
At the end of this, you should be able to pass the numerical test question pass mark with ease.
b. Verbal Reasoning
The goal of the verbal reasoning test is to evaluate your comprehension and analytical skills. This test will determine how confident you are in extracting information from a previously unseen passage of text, you will be required to identify whether the following statements are true, false, or impossible to say based on the information contained in the passage of text.
The KPMG verbal aptitude test comprises of 20 questions. Usually, you’ll be given 20 minutes to answer all the questions. The verbal test comprises of four types of questions: synonyms; antonyms; analogy and sentence correction.
TIP: To ace KPMG verbal reasoning, you will need to be as fast as possible. Again i say, keep an eye on the clock. This is because the time given might not be enough to answer all questions. Also, you can never practice enough, try as many practice questions as possible beforehand. Practice makes perfect. *winks*.
There is also a logical reasoning test but it is optional.
In summary, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the format of the test questions and try as many questions as possible.
