The International Ambassador Scholarship offers financial back up to academically exceptional students who desire to become ambassadors for the University of West London. The International Ambassador Scholarship like some other scholarships in Nigeria provides a rebate on the cost of tuition for the first year of study for applicants. International Ambassadors are active representatives of the University who are required to partake in ongoing and future promotional activities and will be interviewed and photographed by the marketing department. As academically exceptional students, Ambassadors will also partake from time to time in the growth of the University of West London by supporting events organised for scholars or by the International Office.

Eligibility Criteria For The International Scholarship At The University Of Arts London

To be eligible for the University Of Arts international scholarship, an applicant must fulfil the following criteria:

1. He/She must be a self-funded overseas full fee-paying paying student

2. He/She must be an offer holder for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWL, to commence study in September 2018 or January 2019. Simply put, it is expected that the candidate must have applied for a course of study at the University and must have already gotten a formal offer from one of the University’s Admissions Officers.

3. International candidates must also demonstrate English language proficiency.

How Applicants Are Selected For The International Ambassador Scholarship.

The International Ambassador Scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador. The scholarship makes use of the following when awarding scholarships :

1. A one-page essay describing how you could serve as a student ambassador to the university, as well as any experiences you have in leadership and volunteerism.

2. One Letter of Recommendation

3. Assessed non-resident tuition.

4. There is no GPA or SAT requirement. However, stronger academic backgrounds may result in higher scholarship awards.
