Talent Q, established in 2006 was founded by Roger Holdsworth who is also a co-founder of SHL. Talent Q Aptitude tests are used by companies to examine the reasoning and analytical abilities of prospective employees. Their products are available in more than 40 languages

TalentQ Elements

This is one of the 3 major packages of TalentQ Aptitude test. Talent Q Aspect and Abilities, Talent Q Dimensional being the remaining two.

TalentQ Element format is similar to that of other job aptitude tests comprises of 3 tests; element numerical, element verbal and element logical reasoning test. each of these tests contains about 12-15 questions that vary in level of difficulty.  You may have to do two or all of these tests depending on the job position you’re applying for. The aim of this test is to assess candidates comprehension, logical and numerical abilities. If you’re applying for the post of a manager. supervisor or any other high position, you’re most likely going to do this test.

 

TalentQ Element Numerical test

Element Numerical is designed to examine candidates’ ability to interpret and analyze numerical data. Numerical Reasoning Tests generally reviews candidates math skill i.e how you can make decisions based on numerical data. the data can be in form of graphs, tables, and figures. Often, candidates are given 12 questions. A difference between this test and other aptitude test is that there isn’t a total time limit for this test, however, there is a time limit for each question. for the first question, you’ll have 90 seconds to choose an answer and for others, you’ll have 75 seconds. TalentQ Element Verbal Test

Element verbal assess candidates’ understanding and comprehension skills. You’ll be given 5 different passages based on different subjects and you’ll have to answer  3 questions for each passage based on your understanding of the passages You’ll be given four options out of which you select the one you think is the answer. there also isn’t a total time limit for this test, however, there is a time limit for each question. for the first question, you’ll have 75 seconds to choose an answer and for others, you’ll have 60 seconds. Read more on How To Pass Verbal Reasoning Tests Easily

 

TalentQ Element Logical Reasoning

This is sometimes called a diagrammatic reasoning test. Logical Reasoning tests evaluate candidates’ ability at skills such as interpretation of patterns, number sequences or the relationships between shapes. In this test, you must be able to identify a missing pattern or predict the next pattern in a series of different shapes that you’ll be provided with.
