 The British American Tobacco Iseyin Agronomy (BATIA) in collaboration with the British American Tobacco Nigeria (BATN) offers scholarships to undergraduates in Nigeria. Similar to many undergraduate scholarships in Nigeria, this scholarship system is a corporate social responsibility that aims at increasing manpower development in the agricultural sector of Nigeria.

Every year, ten qualified students are awarded scholarships alongside five eligible children of BAT (British American Tobacco) farmers. However, if no child of the farmers is found deserving of the scholarship, the slots are thrown open to candidates from Oyo state who are undergraduates.

Eligibility For The British America Tobacco Nigeria (BATN) Scholarship

1. Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria and above 18 years.
2. Be a child of BAT registered tobacco farmers and has been admitted to study a course in any Nigeria institution.
3. O’level certificate holder with six credits in one sitting.

The BATN- BATIA scholarship exam is grouped into 4 sections.
