MUSTE Scholarship for Undergraduates (Jim Ovia Scholarship) In Nigeria

The Mankind United to Support Total Education (MUSTE) scholarship program for undergraduate and higher degree studies is also called as Jim Ovia Scholarship Programme. It is a scholarship arm of the Youth Empowerment and ICT Foundation founded and funded by Mr. Jim Ovia to provide financial aid to outstanding Nigeria youths. It is one of the ongoing undergraduates scholarships in Nigeria that eligible undergraduates should apply for

Awardees will be supported for their undergraduate and graduate study for the duration of their program which includes tuition and maintenance allowances. Financial aids are given to students who are excellent.

  • To provide a platform that encourages competitiveness and promotes equal opportunities in workplace.
  • To bridge the knowledge gap among Nigerian Youth

Eligibility For MUSTE Undergraduate Scholarship For Nigerian Students (Jim Ovia Scholarship)

The programme offers an average of 100 opportunities every year for new candidates while renewing applicants are supported annually, conditional on meeting all requirements of the scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be citizens of Nigeria
  • Be Graduates or Undergraduates in any Nigerian University
  • Have leadership qualities, personal intellectual abilities and be able to help the society at large.

Selected candidates will be invited for Jim Ovia Scholarship exam. Just like many other scholarship aptitude tests, it is very essential to practise beforehand using a past question.

Other Requirements For Application Are:

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination result or the equivalent
  • Current admission letter into a recognised higher level institution
  • Undergraduate applicant must have passed JAMB and Post-JAMB examinations
  • Undergraduates already in school must attach a recent photocopy of their school I.D
  • Higher degree applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent and have at least two years of recent full-time professional experience, acquired after a university degree.
  • Present one personal reference letter and one academic/professional reference letter. All recommendation letters must be duly signed.
  • Higher degree applicant must include a cover letter stating “Why they intend to pursue a higher degree” (Not more than 250 words), attach recent passport photograph and a valid email address, residential address and telephone number to be attached
